Only the Shadow knows has hit home with me again. It is in the form of a three-year- old adopted black mini-jaguar kitty named Shadow. After three years of us being together, we are doing just fine! He is smart, a real athlete, a little stubborn sometimes, and we have formed a wonderful bond. He is free to do anything he wants here as long as he uses one or both his litter boxes. He has broken things accidentally, and last week on the day of the one- hit wonder flash in Pdx, Sunday, he said he had seen lightning before, but never at exact same time as thunder. Sure glad it was reported later on the 5 pm news because I wanted to make sure I saw and heard what I thought I had. Two strong pics for NFL games: my super lock is Bengals -7 at Dallas. Dallas is done for the season, and Mike McCarthy is a very poor coach, and always has been. The owner of Cowgirls has no gm, and these two still claim Dallas will have good season. A broken bone in your throwing hand is serious. Happened to Russell Wilson last year. Cowboy owner says his qb will be back in 3 weeks. Yeh right; is serious because is hard to grip ball with a surgically repaired hand. Cowboys have not won a super bowl in 27 years. Love to see them lose as Jerry Jones thinks he knows football! What an idiot. Pick number two for afternoon games is San Francisco on money line (throw out point spread and bet the odds) over Seattle, being played in SF. Seattle on the road is not good, and Seattle qb is a one- hit wonder (last Monday beating Denver) Shadow has been watching lots of games with me and he has given me good tips. I know many of his meows but he does not listen to me much. We communicate by strong eye contact; it works on humans too. The 5:30 game is Bears at Green Bay. Green Bay will win at home and once, again a money line wager. Bet you house on USC winning in Corvallis next Saturday; I already bet half of mine. Two Monday night games and Bills are on at 4:30 pm pdx time. Leaning now on Eagles over Viks in game two. Sure nice to have a kitty who purrs a lot and is learning football more and more! Go Ducks
